1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stinray
The C3 Chevrolet Corvettes, produced from 1968-1982, remain among the more popular collector corvettes on the market. The final year of the chrome front and rear bumper came in 1972 as did the removable glass rear window. The 1972 model still maintained the Stingray moniker and are still considered muscle cars. The 1973 Corvette began the transformation from muscle car to touring sports car.
The '72 Stingray presented at auction is a color code correct Sunflower Yellow and sports a 4-speed manual transmission and T-tops. This car has been restored to original except for the addition of the sporty '69 side pipes and LT1-style hood. Very presentable car in great condition that drives and handles well.
