GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Ford Bronco is an iconic piece of American automotive history that emerged in 1966. Ford built the bronco to compete with the jeep cj-5 and the International Harvester Scout. The Bronco was the world’s first SUV that offered coil spring front suspension providing a smooth and comfortable ride, along with the durability needed to be an off-road vehicle as well. This 1969 Ford Bronco Pickup Cab was restored 10 years ago and is a numbers matching truck which retains its original engine and transmission.

ENGINE: The 302 ci engine is original, starts up with no problem and runs very well. There are dual fuel tanks on this truck including a manual valve switch to change over tanks. Additionally, there is a switch on the dash that allows the gas gauge to switch over and indicate the fuel level of the active tank.

DRIVETRAIN: The 302 ci engine is mated to a 3-speed column-shifted manual transmission. The 4wd is functional and there is also a functioning PTO on the transfer case which can be used to power a winch. This Bronco has a Dana 30 front axle and 9’ Ford rear axle with 4.10:1 ratios.

SUSPENSION: This Bronco is equipped with coil spring front suspension and a leaf spring rear suspension. The factory painted white steel wheels with full size hub caps are wrapped in new radial 235/75-15 tires and drum brakes on both the front and back.

EXTERIOR: The body was repainted during its’ restoration. There are some chips and blemishes in the paint as shown in the pictures due to normal use of the truck over time. The vehicle is rust free except for some typical rust in the passenger side lower windshield frame, inner front fenders and some bubbling in the lower portion of the tailgate. The trucks body is straight and the chrome bumpers accent the truck nicely. The painted metal in the bed is free from rust and the paint presents nicely.

INTERIOR: Inside the cab it features a matching painted dash with a black dash pad. All gauges and switches for exterior lights work as they should. A later Ford radio was added at one point and does power on and receives radio signal. The white bucket seats present well with no rips or tears and the white headliner is clean and tight with no rips.
