You almost never see a vehicle titled from the
year 1945! Most manufacturers
didn't start vehicle production back up after the bombing of Pearl Harbor until
1946 and they stopped a few months into 42. Buick was allowed to make a few and
so was Packard, mostly for military use, but that's it.
Most people want to buy a car from the year they were born. If you were born in '43, '44, or usually '45 it's not possible. And '42 is going to be a slim chance.
