For many car enthusiasts 1969 was the best year of cars. That same year, this piece of Detroit muscle took home the title as Motor Trend car of the year. It has a 383 manual 4 speed under the hood. It has a Carter AVS carburetor that at some point will need to be rebuilt or possibly a valve job. It has a very clean interior, especially because the initial restoration took place in the 90’s. The exterior has a few flaws in an otherwise above average condition. The suspension and handling are as expected on a car that has been in storage for an extended period of time. The steering box could use a tightening to remediate a little looseness that’s experienced at higher velocities. All gauges except gas function properly- by process of elimination I was able to determine that the sending unit in the tank is the culprit. Very few issues with an amazing car that needs a new home.
