Affordable 250 V-12 motoring
Arguably the most important motorcars that Ferrari ever produced, the 250 Series includes the iconic 250 GTO, 250 Testa Rossa and 250 GT California, which are worth between $10-50 million dollars, as well as the almost as valuable 250 SWB Berlinetta and 250 GT/L Lusso. The most affordable model of this historic range was the 250 GTE, introduced in 1959 as a 2 + 2 grand tourer. With an enlarged 4-liter engine, a new model appeared on an interim basis called the 330 America, but it was superseded with the introduction of the 330 GT 2 + 2 in 1964. The following year, further revisions marked the debut of the Series II, which gained more attractive dual headlight styling, alloy wheels, and a 5-speed gearbox. With only 474 built, the 330 GT 2 + 2 is a rare, but surprisingly affordable 12-cylinder Ferrari. With contemporary examples trading for many millions of dollars, this model is sure to appreciate, while also providing its fortunate owner with an opportunity to drive a legend.
