1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Having undergone an extensive restoration, this 1968 GT500 Cobra Jet is in remarkable condition throughout. Originally a home-office reserve special-order car #2505. It was ordered with a 3.50:1 Traction-Lok differential, and a c6 automatic transmission, power steering and front power disc brakes. It is, of course, powered by the famed and fabled 428/335 HP V-8 engine, and is documented with its Shelby invoice, window sticker Shelby American build sheet and a deluxe Marti Report. The glove box door is autographed by Carroll Shelby.
This car only has 291 miles since its comprehensive restoration, after the restoration a few modern adjustments were added; these are consisting mostly bolt on accessories to make it an incredible driver. They include the Fitech fuel injection, MSD electronic ignition, four core aluminum radiator with electric fans. A Tremec 5 speed Manual transmission and a set of halogen head lights were also added. With this small set of bolt on improvements this car can be driven everywhere or with a few minor changes can become a concourse restoration once again.
