1991 GMC Syclone
Vehicle Identification Number: 1GDCT14Z2M8800630
Dual Turbo Charged
700 R4 Transmission
General Motors sought to make a splash in the 1991 Model Year truck market, and they did that with the Syclone! At the time it was introduced, the Syclone was the quickest stock pickup truck being produced in the world. Featuring dual turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, all wheel drive, and 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, the specifications had more in common with a Porsche than most other pickup trucks. Just short of 3000 Syclone trucks were produced in 1991, the only year this hot rod truck was available. This truck has been the subject of many articles, all of which sing the praises of this GMC.
The example presented at auction is 1 of only 2995 Syclones built. The odometer shows only 31k miles, and the truck presents itself very well. The color is Black, the only color available! The interior is in excellent condition and the fit and finish looks sharp. Driving the truck, you’ll enjoy when the twin turbos power up the V-6 and the All-Wheel Drive rockets you from 0-60 in under 5 seconds! This is a very rare and nice, classic hot rod.
Auction Estimate: $19,000-23,000
