1970 Chevrolet Camaro Custom
The second generation Camaro was known for its imposing nose, wide stance, strength under the hood and the front bumpers were a sight to behold! The split bumper Camaro is a fast appreciating car in the collector car market today.
The ’70 Custom Camaro presented here retains much of the original car, but with some upgrades! While it is not known if the car came original with split bumpers, this car wears them well. A custom hood adorns the front end and the car sports 2 year old paint and custom striping. New rubber weather stripping has been installed along with new upholstery, headliner and carpet. Inside and out the car looks great.
Under the hood you’ll find a SBC 350 built to 350hp LT1 Specs. The 4-bolt main block, big valve heads and LT1 type camshaft give this car all the power you need to really scoot! The strong engine is mated to a Muncie 4 speed transmission with Hurst shifter and the posi-traction rear-end has 3.08 gears. The high performance custom built clutch is connected to the LT1-type flywheel for quite the driving experience. A new 3″ exhaust has been installed from the headers to the tail-pipe giving this car the running rumble that is hard to top!
