The Defender 90 SW presented at auction is a very high end car. Having been completely restored to a very high example, this vehicle is literally better than new. Arkonik of England, one of the premier Defender restoration companies in the world, is the builder of this car. You will notice right away that quality persists inside, outside and underneath the Defender. Extensive picture documentation is available on the build of this car demonstrating the expert level of the build.
Acquired through entry in a Sweepstakes in 2018, the owner of this Arkonik Defender 90 has enjoyed the car for only 6800 miles. Given the level of build on this car, these may be considered original miles since restoration. The owner reports that, in addition to road and highway travel, the Defender has been tested in and around Moab, Utah on other than paved roads! The Defender performed as expected and even displays some “Rocky Mountain Pinstriping” from brush and trees along the trail(see pictures). Please note the Defender is free from dents or broken glass.
All components are reported to work and the motor and transmission run and shift smooth. The Defender sits on BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires providing a great stance and confidence regardless of the road condition.
The luxury interior is well apportioned featuring upholstery in leather and iconic Land Rover script. The dual bench seating in the cabin offers seating for many and the ride and comfort is true to Land Rover.
